Lenny Kravitz Brings Back His Viral ‘Big Scarf’ with Sharp Fall Boots on TikTok
Lenny Kravitz took to TikTok to welcome fall — and bring back one of his most viral accessories.
The award-winning musician strolled outside in a new clip on the social media platform, where he wore a pair of warm tan suede boots. His style featured sharply pointed toes, complete with angled sides that hinted at a heeled silhouette — one Kravitz has become known for wearing over the years. However, it also featured a massive brown knit scarf, marking the return of a popular Internet meme into real life.
“Grab your big scarf — it’s the first day of fall,” Kravitz nonchalantly said while staring into the camera in the video.
The chocolate-brown knitwear featured a fringed hem, bringing added texture as it swayed in the wind — though it also brought back Kravitz’s large brown scarf first seen in 2012. At the time, the singer layered the piece over a jacket, jeans and slouchy suede boots during a shopping trip; in the years since, it’s become a top Internet meme that’s often used to signify the start of autumn.
On this occasion, Kravitz similar draped the scarf over a tonal neutral outfit: a black and jeans, brown leather jacket and brown aviator-style sunglasses. Similar tonal hues could be see in his recent outfits this season, as well — like the black leather jacket, leather pants and cream snakeskin boots he wore during the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Kravitz often wears sleek footwear. The “Fly Away” singer often wears heeled boots in a wide range of textures and heights, hailing from top brands including Modern Vice and Saint Laurent. Outside of sleek boots, Kravitz has also been spotted in Rick Owens sneakers while off-duty.
