Pom Klementieff gave party-girl style a biker edge during Milan Fashion Week.
On Saturday, the “Fast and the Furious” star arrived to The Attico’s Spring 2024 fashion show — the brand’s first-ever runway production — in Milan, Italy, wearing a slick pair of its boots. Her $2,300 Dada style featured black leather uppers with sharply pointed toes, as well as slouchy, soft leather shafts.
The pair gained a subversive edge from its thin oval-shaped silver buckles, creating a biker-like effect when accenting the front and knee straps on Klementieff’s footwear. The style also featured 3.93-inch wedged heels with an inverted shape, creating a daring appearance while remaining sculptural and sleek for the occasion.
Klementieff’s Attico shoes also made a bold statement when paired with her attire: a pale seafoam-green minidress embellished with thin holographic sequins. For a comfortable edge, the piece was layered beneath a oversized bomber jacket crafted with black leather — which also matched Klementieff’s boots’ texture and hue, creating a coordinating ensemble for the occasion.
Wedged boots like Klementieff’s have returned in the 2020’s, with the thick heel shape — which first gained popularity in the 2010’s — given an update with a wider range of heights and sculptural silhouettes. Knee, calf and ankle-high styles have been released by a wide range of brands, as seen in current-season collections from labels including Amina Muaddi, Fendi and Vince Camuto.
Milan Fashion Week officially kicked off on Sept. 19 and runs through Sept. 25. The spring 2024 season features a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a range of brands, including Fendi, Tom Ford, Versace, Gucci and more.
