A LIFESTYLE influencer has shared her go-to dip recipe for football season.
She recommended pairing the high-protein dip with queso chips or even plain veggies.
Kaila (@kailargibson) shared the recipe with over 40,000 TikTok followers.
The content creator, down 65 pounds after her weight-loss surgery, explained that the dip was her favorite during the seasonal festivities.
“This was perfect for my family and for myself, who can’t really handle too many carbs,” she said.
Starting off with a pound of lean brown beef and a pound of pork sausage, she drained the meat and placed it in an Instant Pot.
Next, she added a package of Velveeta cheese as well as a can of cream of mushroom soup.
Last but not least, she added two cans of Rotel’s diced tomatoes and green chilies.
She slow-cooked the ingredients in the pot for three hours as she prepped the veggies to pair with the dip.
“Everyone is dishing up, everyone loved it, it was so delicious,” she raved.
“You could use this with queso chips or just veggies!”
People thanked her for the recipe but a few had questions about the prep.
One commenter wondered if alternative appliances could be used: “Can this be done in the Crockpot if you pre-cook the meat?” they asked.
“Yes, that’s what I did! I put it on Crockpot mode,” Kaila replied.
Others were excited to try the recipe out for themselves but had a few concerns.
“I find myself having a hard time stopping the chip eating, do you have any advice?” asked one viewer.
Kaila said she did indeed: “I air fry tortillas and make them chips or use Quest!” she said.
