Hello Friends,
Only ankle to knee high at Dee Why this morning. The metre or so of swell was coming from the SSE at 10 seconds, so magnets could be into the waist high range. Skies were mostly cloudy and the wind was coming from the west. From the look of the swell models, tomorrow’s surf prospects are not likely to be an improvement on today’s. There’s a some hope for an improvement from Tuesday as the main swell direction goes more to the east and the wind stays weak for the morning sessions.
Tide was low at 0840 today and will be back to the high at 0840, by which time the NEr should be well and truly making itself felt.
Have a good one!
A high pressure system centred near Bass Strait, reaching the Tasman Sea on Sunday. Southerly winds will gradually shift to northerly in most coastal areas over the weekend. The next southerly change front looks set to arrive mid next week.
