Keanu Reeves' Girlfriend Alexandra Grant Opens Up About Their Relationship & What She Loves About Him

Alexandra Grant made some rare but glowing comments about her boyfriend Keanu Reeves during a recent red carpet appearance.

The Hollywood couple made their red carpet debut back in 2019 and have been going strong since then. However, they keep most of their relationship out of the public eye.

While attending the Los Angeles Beverly Arts Icon Awards solo on Friday (September 22), Alexandra made it clear just how in love they really are.

Alexandra, a visual artist, opened up about how the pair work and inspire one another to continue growing.

“What I love about Keanu and our exchange is that we’re pushing each other to build new roads,” she told People. “Seeing the other person’s problem-solving is inspiring, like, ‘Oh, well, okay, this one, that’s a cul-de-sac. How do I try this other thing?’ ”

“He’s such an inspiration to me,” she added. “He’s so creative, he’s so kind. He works so hard.”

Their relationship has had a visual impact on her creativity, too.

“I had a studio visit a few years ago, and this very kind, very high-level person said, ‘I can see that your work has gotten happier,’ ” she recalled, implying that she attributed the change to their relationship. “That’s real. We’re all human beings. We’re animals. We’re expressing from where we are and certainly feeling happier. I think the work is happier.”

Alexandra also reflected on being on her own on the red carpet, saying, “The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I had built my own career by the time that my relationship had begun. I feel very confident in the relationship on the red carpet. I feel confident on it alone.”

Keanu also made some rare comments about Alexandra earlier this year.

They were also spotted looked very loved-up on the red carpet back in April.
