BBC Breakfast’s Jon Kay has teased a new TV project after a major presenter shakeup on the morning show.
The flagship programme has had a bit of shuffling recently as many regular stars have been missing from the studio.

Jon is one of many who has decided to go out and explore new opportunities.
Taking to Instagram stories, the news host shared a behind-the-scenes selfie, while teasing: “Cracking day filming in London, all will be revealed next week, ” along with a mouth zipped emoji.
Recently, BBC viewers tuned into the flagship programme expecting to see Jon Kay and Sally Nugent.
However, Jon, 53, was nowhere to be seen on the iconic red sofa.
Instead Sally, 51, was joined by Ben Thompson as they brought viewers the latest news.
Ben, who is a regular presenter at the Beeb, has co-hosted BBC Breakfast before.
The pair gave no explanation for Jon’s absence.
He usually fronts the show with Sally from Monday to Wednesday before Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty take over the reigns until Saturday.
But it seems now BBC Breakfast fans will know why Jon has been missing from the morning show.
