Stuart Weitzman Drops ‘Invincibly Iconic’ Fall Boots Campaign With Model He Cong
Stuart Weitzman is putting the spotlight on its hit boot styles for fall 2023.
Today, the footwear brand unveiled its new autumn campaign, “Invincibly Iconic,” starring Chinese supermodel He Cong. In the imagery, Hong is shot by photographer Karim Sadli in New York City, showing the versatility and wearability of Weitzman’s staple and newly-introduced shoe styles.
One image finds the supermodel leaning against a skyscraper-surrounded balcony, wearing a black leather set of the label’s $795 5050 Bold boots — a knee-high style with short stacked heels and thin soles.
“He Cong is the quintessential SW woman: She’s confident. She’s ambitious. She’s invincible,” said Weitzman’s CEO and brand president, Giorgio Sarné, in a statement. “With this campaign, we are cementing our commitment to empowering our woman as we celebrate her strength, confidence and, of course, her progress with every step she takes.”
In a similar vein, Co is seen in another image wearing Weitzman’s China-exclusive black leather Maverick boots. The knee-high style featured narrow toes and thin hardware trim, set atop short low-heeled soles.
A sleeker silhouette can be seen in Weitzman’s Stuart 75 boots, another iteration of the brand’s staple 5050 line. This version. includes smooth leather uppers with stretchy over-the-knee shafts, sharp pointed toes and 2.95-inch stiletto heels. The sleek pair, also exclusive to the China market, is cast in a tonal brown hue for the campaign.
Rounding out the campaign’s shoe range is Weitzman’s new Vida 75 boots. The knee-high style, the third in the line that’s exclusive to China, features smooth, light tan-beige suede uppers with 2.95-inch block heels.
