Gabbriette Stars in Betsey Johnson’s Grungy Fall 2023 Campaign
Betsey Johnson introduced florals for fall in their latest campaign starring model Gabbriette Bechtel, known as Gabbriette.
Shot by Tom Schirmacher, the campaign sees Gabbriette toting a range of campy bags clad in an array of voluminous tulle and metallic minidresses. Each item takes inspiration from the 90s, an era in which rebellious grunge culture thrived.
Footwear featured in the campaign includes Johnson’s Gallant Black Multi knee-high boots in black suede with multicolored floral motifs along with their best-selling rhinestoned Cady in black and pink.
Gabbriette also wore the brand’s Sidny low-top sneaker in a similar style and colorway to the Cady boot along with their Dalas rhinestoned cowboy boots in “Rhinestone.” In a very fall style, the model also wore a pair of lace-up houndstooth Cotton boots in black and white featuring gold buckle detailing all situated atop platform soles and lofty block heels.
Rounding out the campaign with a touch of glamor, Gabbriette wore Johnson’s Sidny sneakers in “Ivory” featuring pearl embellishments, followed by their Sofya floral and black mesh heels.
Although she got her start in music in girl group Nasty Cherry, Gabbriette has quickly become a hot commodity in the fashion world. At just 26 years old, the rocker-turned-model has been featured in countless campaigns from Juicy Couture to Marc Jacobs and has walked for major brands including Deisel and Dsquared2.
