Man Utd hoping to offload £65m duo with extended transfer windows in Turkey & Saudi - report

Manchester United are hoping to use the extended transfer windows in Turkey and Saudi Arabia to offload Eric Bailly and Donny van de Beek, according to ESPN.

The Red Devils witnessed the departure of 13 players this summer. This includes Brandon Williams, Alvaro Fernandez and Mason Greenwood, who left on loan deals.

It appears that there could be more exits in the next few days with the summer transfer windows still open in Turkey (September 15) and Saudi (September 7).

Bailly and Van de Beek are currently out-of-favour and are anticipated to leave the club.

Man Utd duo need to move on soon

Bailly was deemed surplus to requirements last summer after he refused to accept a back-up role in the squad. He spent last season on loan with Marseille.

The French outfit had a conditional obligation to buy him, but the centre-back did not make the required number of appearances for the clause to be triggered.

United are now prepared to offload him with his contract expiring next summer. Bailly has been linked with Besiktas, but his wages could be a stumbling block.

The Turkish outfit want to sign him on a free transfer, but Bailly may want a pay-off to leave United.

Meanwhile, Van de Beek recently snubbed a season-long loan move to Lorient. They agreed a deal with United, but the Dutchman was not keen on joining them.

Galatasaray remain engaged in talks with the Red Devils over a loan deal for him. An initial bid of £1 million was rejected on deadline day, but he could yet leave.

Bailly and Van de Beek were signed for £30m and £35m respectively by United. While Bailly has had some fine displays at United, things have not worked out for Van de Beek.
