HANDS up if you’ve spent a small fortune over the years on expensive skincare in a bid to turn back the clock?
Well, according to one age-defying woman there’s no need to splash the cash…because there’s a £2 bargain beauty buy that does the trick just as well.
The woman, who is 57-years-old but is regularly told she looks much younger, posted a video to TikTok (@hope_dealer_) where she revealed her anti-ageing secret.
In the clip, she begins: “I’m 57-years-old and I get asked a lot about the skin around my lips and why I don’t have those vertical lines.
“I’ve been doing a few things over the years and I’m going to tell you about a few of them.”
The beauty whizz begins by revealing that she uses castor oil, which can be bought for as little as £2.
“I’ve just started using castor oil for the last six months but I’ve always taken care of the skin around my lips,” she says.
“I also drink collagen and it really, really helps.

“I put some castor oil on the edge of my gua sha….I go around the edge of my lips and I just break up and time of muscles or tissue that might try to form those lines.”
She goes on to say how she repeats the process around two to three times a week and is delighted with the results.
The video has since gone viral, racking up thousands of views and several comments from very impressed social media users.
“No way you are 57 – you look 10 years younger,” enthused one.
A second penned: “You are amazingly beautiful. I need to do this ASAP!”
A third commented: “I scrape my face or my husband does- caster oil is a miracle worker- we have used it last 3 years – even drink it.”
