Ange Postegoclou has hinted that it is likely to be a busy week at Tottenham Hotspur with transfer activity as the summer transfer window nears its end.
While Tottenham have been relatively active in the window with new arrivals, it has been a difficult situation in trying to offload some of the players who are surplus to requirements under the Australian.
Former club captain Hugo Lloris decided to miss the club’s pre-season tour of Asia-Pacific to see a transfer away from North London and earlier this week saw a potential move to Lazio collapse (Fabrice Hawkins).
Tanguy Ndombele. Sergio Reguilon, Japhet Tanganga and Djed Spence are among those who are not in the plans of the new head coach and many fans will be hoping the club can offload them before Friday’s deadline in order to free up some space in the dressing room for one or two late arrivals.
Postecoglou was asked about transfer activity by the BBC following Tottenham’s 2-0 win at Bournemouth earlier today, he said: “I reckon there’ll be a lot happening before the window shuts. How much I’m going to be involved, I’m not really sure, but I’ve got a feeling there’ll be a fair bit of activity this week.”

Getting big wages off the club’s bottom line will be key this week and will hopefully mean that Postecoglou is able to bring in another forward player to help revamp the attack.
Gift Orban and Brennan Johnson have both been heavily linked with a potential arrival to N17, after today’s performance, it’s clear to see there’s a need for more options up the top of the pitch with Richarlison struggling to adapt to the new style.
