MANCHESTER UNITED returned to winning ways against Nottingham Forest despite an appalling start that saw them concede twice in four minutes.
The Red Devils taking on the East Midlands side at Old Trafford as they looked to bounce back from their defeat to Tottenham last weekend.
Two quick fire goals form Taiwo Awoniyi and Willy Boly gave Manchester United the worse possible start to the game.
Christian Eriksen did get United back into the game in the 17th minute as he scored with a lovely finish.
The comeback was complete in the 52nd minute as Casemiro volleyed past Matt Turner.
Joe Worrall then made Forest’s job harder as he saw red in the 67th minute for dragging Bruno Fernandes down on the edge of the penalty area.
Fernandes then fired United into the lead for the first time in the game from the spot in the 76th minute after Marcus Rashford was brought down in the box.
After going ahead, Man United then had to hold on to their lead against the ten men of Forest but were able to see out the result and save their blushes.
