I’m an autumn fashion queen and did a dangerous Boohoo haul, Zara dupe cropped trench is the winner
A FASHION fanatic has revealed she’s found the perfect cropped trench coat for autumn – and says it’s just as good as Zara’s version.
Ellie Butler is the childhood sweetheart of Celtic’s Liam Shaw – currently on loan at Wigan Athletic – and regularly shares her shopping buys with fans.
In a recent video (@ellxbutler), she did a huge Boohoo haul for autumn with some cute “transitional pieces” as temperatures begin to cool off.
The size 10 footie WAG said: “We’ve got a big Boohoo haul, I’m very excited.
“We’ve got some transitional pieces going into winter.
“I’m very excited because this is my favourite time of year for fashion.
“Autumn/winter is my time to shine. I love the coats, the jumpers, the jackets, everything.
“This haul is dangerous because I’m gonna end up keeping everything.”
Ellie picked up some striped trousers, joggers, a waistcoat, fleeces, a knitted co-ord and a short tracksuits.
But it was a £45 khaki cropped trench coat that really stole the show.
“I’ve been shopping [and] went in loads of different shops and every single one had cropped trenches“, Ellie said.
“So I feel like they’re gonna be big this year.
“I’ve already got two long ones, maybe three. I feel like I’m missing a cropped one. You never know when you’re gonna need a crop trench.”
The blonde fashionista picked up the cropped trench in a size 14 for an oversized look.
She hailed the quality as “incredible” and even compared it to Zara’s £59.99 version which sold out earlier this year.
Ellie said: “How stunning is this? I’ve just popped on some leggings with it and some sandals.
“I’m sorry, how is this from Boohoo? The quality, it’s like Zara.
“Oh my God I’m guessing this is the fourth trench that I own now.”
Describing the cropped trench on their website, Boohoo bosses said: “Not all trench coats need to be long! This short trench coat is a fresh take on the more classic look.
