Scarlett Moffatt in ferocious comeback to ‘ridiculous’ mum-shamers after sharing snap of baby Jude wearing a hat indoors
SCARLETT Moffatt hit back at “ridiculous” mum-shamers at she jumped to the defence of Kate Lawler.
Big Brother winner Kate, 43, came under fire for sharing a clip of her daughter Noa, two, having a tantrum.
She later issued a response to the barrage of negative comments she received – and former Gogglebox star Scarlett, 32, jumped in to share her own experience with mum-shamers.
The TV star, who welcomed first child Jude at the end of June, wrote: “Jude’s only 8 weeks old and the amount of unsolicited parenting advice I’ve had.
“We were taking him out for a walk and I took a pic before we went and I was bombarded with you shouldn’t let your baby wear hats indoor comments and messages. It’s ridiculous xx.”
Kate and husband Martin Bojtos are currently on a road trip through Europe with Noa and their two dogs.
In a furious rant against those who criticised her original post of Noa, Kate wrote: “Firstly please don’t tell me what I can and can’t post on my own Instagram account. I wouldn’t ever dream of telling even a family member what they should or shouldn’t post.
“Secondly, the reel I posted was not for ‘entertainment’, It’s hugely important for me to also share the reality of holidaying with two dogs and a toddler as so many of you asked for advice, tips & recommendations about European road trips.
“If all I shared were sweet and smiley family photos it would be completely disingenuous and not representative of this trip at all.”
Scarlett, who shares Jude with partner Scott Dobson, has been forced to hit back at mum-shamers before.
She was even forced to add a disclaimer when she recently posted an adorable snap of Jude sleeping on a cushion next to her cute dog.
