Manchester United have been handed a huge boost to their hopes of signing Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina this summer.

According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, Manchester United can now pick up the Fiorentina midfielder for a real bargain fee.

It was claimed that the Serie A side wanted €25 million for Amrabat, but they could now be prepared to sell him for just €20 million according to TMW.

Man United boss Erik ten Hag desperately needs to bolster his central midfield ranks at Old Trafford before the transfer window slams shut. Casemiro has looked well off the pace during the opening two Premier League games and if United are to finish inside the top four, let alone win the league, Ten Hag needs to sign Amrabat immediately in my opinion…

TMW are claiming that Fiorentina could be willing to lower their demands for the Moroccan star down to just €20 million, the longer that this transfer saga drags on.

If that is true, United cannot hesitate to sign him – he’d be a special addition to Ten Hag’s ranks at Old Trafford.

Described as an ‘elite’ defensive midfielder by Yahoo Sport, Amrabat possesses absolutely everything that United are lacking right now.

Amrabat has energy, dynamism, athleticism, pace and power in abundance. He’s also very good in possession, and has the ability to control the tempo of a game from the base of central midfield.

The Fiorentina star is tailor made for Premier League football what with his tenacious tackling and aggressive approach to the game.

If Manchester United sign Sofyan Amrabat for just €20 million, it will go on to be the bargain of the summer as far as I’m concerned.
