Eggo Debuts 'Brunch in a Jar' Liqueur for Boozy Breakfast
Who doesn't love a bottomless brunch? When you're looking to have some fun with your breakfast, there's nothing like a good mimosa, bellini, or Bloody Mary. Of course, there are plenty of other ways to drink your calories, and Eggo is ready to help you do just that.
The beloved breakfast foods brand is releasing a new "Brunch in a Jar" liqueur meant to make some delicious alcohol-infused dishes and drinks to start your day. Kellogg is teaming up with Gatlinburg, TN-based Sugarlands Distilling Company to create the Eggo Brunch in a Jar Waffles & Syrup Sippin' Cream. According to WATE, it's 20 percent alcohol by volume and is designed to help take your breakfast game to the next level.
The 21-and-over treat combines the taste of Eggo waffles in maple syrup with Sugarlands’ Appalachian Sippin’ Cream and comes packaged in a mason jar. You can bring your breakfast to life with creations like an Eggospresso Martini, Eggo Mocha Macchiato, and a boozy Bananas Foster. It's not the first time Kellogg has teamed up with the Tennessee-based distillery, having collaborated in the past on an "Eggo Nog" drink perfect for the holidays.
“Between the juggle of constantly changing schedules, household errands, family outings or busy workdays, it can often feel impossible for parents to find moments they can savor for themselves,” Joe Beauprez, senior director of marketing for frozen foods at Kellogg, said in a statement. “Eggo Brunch in a Jar makes it easy for parents to kick back when they’re not caring for their little ones. So, whether parents want to punch up a weekend brunch or savor some of those classic brunch flavors during their downtime, this feel-good Eggo-inspired liqueur is the perfect treat.”
