Beach Training in Santa Cruz on Sunday, September 3 (Labor Day Weekend)
Open to all Karate people in the area! Free!*
Training will begin at 9:00am on Sunday, September 3, on Seacliff State Beach, on the east side of Santa Cruz. Please prepare time for driving, parking and getting situated. We are starting relatively early to beat the crowds that will be arriving a little later. Please plan to arrive by 8:30. Take a right after you enter the parking area at the gate, driving down the hill and taking your first left. We will probably be fairly close to the restrooms, near the cement ship. The what? Yeah. There is a cement ship there. Funny story. See link below for more on that if you’re interested.

Karate-gi (uniform) optional. If you are wearing a uniform, you may want to wear a swimsuit underneath if you plan to hang out at the beach following the training.
AfterParty at Sensei Keeling’s house in Soquel, which is about 15 minutes away (no telling what traffic will be like at that time).
*Please note that parking at this beach is $10/car and the party is pot-luck. For anyone wanting to drop off their pot-luck contribution and carpool from Soquel, please email (jon@svkarate.com).
