How your penis size is affected by changes in temperature
THE RETURN of hot weather may have been a blessing for men across the UK — but falling temperatures this weekend could see that happiness shrivel away.
Warmer temperatures increase the size of your manhood even when you’re not standing to attention, experts say.
While Britain was blighted by rain and cool temperatures over July, the mercury hit the mid-20s in much of Britain today.
And the return of the sun could be a boon for men’s penises, pharmacists say.
Abbas Kanani, of Chemist Click, told Men’s Health: “In colder weather, a non-erect penis is smaller than usual.
“The blood vessels constrict in order to preserve warmth within your body.
“By the same token, hot weather can increase the size of the non-erect penis as blood vessels dilate and there is better blood flow around your whole body.”
The Met Office yesterday issued a yellow health warning around most of England due to the climbing temperatures.
It was in place across London, the South East, South West, East of England, West Midlands, East Midlands and Yorkshire and the Humber.
The warning has stood since midday yesterday and will finish at 9am on Saturday, August 12.
Despite seeing a brief return of the sun, meteorologists predict temperatures will plummet later this weekend with a chance of thunderstorms.
A Met Office spokesperson predicted Saturday will bring: “A rather breezy day, especially in the north.
“Sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers most frequent and heaviest in the north with thunder possible. Temperatures near average.”
Thunderstorms could continue into Sunday, however the dull conditions are set to improve by Tuesday, August 15.
“Temperatures are likely to gradually increase through the week, with a chance of it becoming very warm or even hot, and likely humid in the south by the weekend,” the Met Office added.
