I’m an ex-flight attendant – the gross reason why you should NEVER drink tea or coffee on a plane
AN EX-FLIGHT attendant has shared some things you should never eat or drink on a plane and people are stunned.
Turns out drinking anything with hot water on a plane is a big no-no.
Mum of two Kat Kamalani shared the reason why in a TikTok video online.
She said: “Don’t you ever, ever, ever consume these products from an aeroplane.”
Kat actually said she wouldn’t recommend you consume any liquid that is not sealed like in a can or a bottle.
She said: “The reason being is because those water tanks are never cleaned.”
“They are disgusting.”
Kat explained flight attendants rarely drink hot drinks on planes.
She said: “They come from the same water tank, so when you’re drinking that coffee and tea it comes from that same water.
“It’s absolutely disgusting.”
And there’s one more suspicious fact about these tanks.
Kat said: “They’re by the lavatories.”

Now whilst it is completely possible for an adult to survive an eight hour plane ride without a hot drink you might be wondering what parents should do with their babies milk?
Kat says there is a way around it.
She said: “Pro tip for parents: never ask for hot water and put it in your baby’s bottle.”
“Ask for a bottle of water on the side and hot water in a cup then make your baby a bottle with the bottled water and put it in the cup and heat it up.”
Kat’s video racked up over 5.2 million views and people were shocked by her revelation.
