Newcastle United Man Set For Medical Ahead Of Move Away

 

The Magpies have reluctantly decided to cash in on Saint-Maximin as they seek to bring in funds from the market in the ongoing transfer window.

 

The two clubs are in talks to agree on a deal worth €25m and the Frenchman has given his approval to the move.

 

 

Newcastle need to make a significant sale this summer to not get stuck in the transfer market due to FFP constraints.

 

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe (print edition), the winger is due for a medical at Al Ahli today ahead of his proposed move.

 

 

The negotiations have progressed well and the deal is now in place where Al Ahli can put the Newcastle star through a medical.

 

Saint-Maximin has agreed to move on from Newcastle after a season where he lost his prominence in the team.

 

 

Howe is looking forward to welcoming Harvey Barnes into his squad after agreeing on a deal with Leicester.

 

Saint-Maximin’s potential departure could also help the Magpies to bring in more new signings.
