Atalanta Coach Keen For Future Of Manchester United Target To Be Resolved By Month’s End

 

Hojlund has already agreed on personal terms on a contract with Manchester United and would earn seven to eight times his current salary if he moves to Old Trafford this summer.

 

Manchester United have held extensive talks with the Dane’s representatives and Atalanta over a deal to take him to the Premier League ahead of the new season.

 

 

Erik ten Hag has identified him as his top striker target after accepting that signing Harry Kane would be close to impossible this summer.

 

According to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, even Atalanta coach Gasperini has accepted that keeping the striker this summer could be a bridge too far.

 

 

He is expecting Hojlund to move on amidst interest from Manchester United but the Atalanta coach does not want the saga to drag on.

 

Gasperini has asked Atalanta to sort out the player’s departure before the end of July so that he can plan better for the new season.

 

 

Manchester United have already made verbal offers and are expected to table their official bid soon.

 

Atalanta are claimed to be keen on getting a fixed fee of €60m and another €8m to €10m in add-ons for Hojlund.
