Chelsea fans beg club to sign England U21 hero Trafford.. but Channel 4 appear to have already leaked keeper’s new club
CHELSEA fans are desperate for the club to sign England Under-21 hero James Trafford.
The goalkeeper saved a last-minute penalty against Spain to win the European U21 Championship.
He also went through the entire tournament without conceding a goal, with Chelsea’s Levi Colwill playing a key role in defence.
Chelsea fans have been impressed with Trafford throughout and have begged the club to make Manchester City an offer.
One supporter said: “Chelsea buy Trafford please!!!!! Warra save!”
Another added: “Is Trafford sure he wants to play for Burnley can we throw some money at him?”
A third said: “Trafford to Chelsea. Here we go.”
And another commented: “Man City should add 5 million on that James Trafford fee.
“He just won England U21 the title.”
However the Blues could be too late with Trafford on the verge of joining Burnley in a £19million deal.

Some Burnley fans even think the transfer has already been finalised after Channel 4 appeared to announce the move in their coverage of England’s final win over Spain.
