The pictures tell the story. It’s close to flat. Your only hope is a south magnet where the very occasional knee-high set is turning up. Swell at sea dropped overnight and was about 0.7m from the SE at 12 seconds. Wind was 12-18 kts from the NW and, unlike the waves, it’s going to pick up. By midday more exposed locations should be seeing 20-30 kts. Weather will be sunny all day, so you should definitely get out and about, just don’t expect to be surfin’.
Outlook for the week ahead continues to hew to the Goat’s call, ie, bumping around the metre mark with occasional opportunities to at least get wet…
