Luke Ritter, Jaylin Davis, and Abraham Almonte all homered in the game for Syracuse. Ritter hit his Mets minor league-leading 19th of the season. Ronny Mauricio didn’t play after coming out of Wednesday’s game early in the sixth inning. Mauricio was lifted right after he tried to leg out a double play he hit into.
SRF was making his first rehab appearance with Syracuse after he had six in the Mets lower levels. He missed most of last year following Tommy John surgery.
Portland Sea Dogs starter Hunter Dobbins proved to be a challenge for Binghamton, as the right-hander struck out ten Rumble Ponies over 5 2/3 brilliant innings. Rowdey Jordan stayed hot, collecting a single and stealing second base. Jordan was the only Binghamton starter in the game with an OPS above .800. Overall, the club tallied only four hits; a fifth-inning, two-out blast by a heating-up Jaylen Palmer scored their only run.
Junior Santos got knocked around for six earned runs in 5 1/3 innings, raising his season ERA to 6.54. His eight strikeouts represent a silver lining to his outing. Dylan Hall straightened the ship, throwing a scoreless 1 2/3 frames. He’s been hit hard lately, after throwing zeroes during the first two months of the 2023 campaign.
Parada is hitting .325/.381/.537 with 13 extra-base hits and 19 RBIs in his last 31 games for Brooklyn. Chase Estep and D’Andre Smith each had two hits in the game for Brooklyn.
Blade Tidwell continued his strong stretch, hurling six great frames, including 11 strikeouts. His 25 whiffs led the minors on Thursday night.

The Cyclones’ rotation has been standout this season; Tidwell, Tyler Stuart, and Christian Scott have all risen up the prospects ranks with their fantastic start.
In a six-inning game, Wilfredo Lara delivered the offense, smashing a solo fourth-inning home run and tallying another hit. De Los Santos tripled, accounting for the Mets’ second run. A steadily-improving Jett Willams was held hitless, though he worked a walk.
Orellana started the game effectively, holding Lakeland hitless over three innings, though five walks and two runs stained his final line. Saul Garcia was less effective over his three frames, collecting the loss by allowing the Tigers’ two decisive runs in the sixth.
Scott Ota and Karell Paz each had two hits in the game for St. Lucie.
Both Dominguez and Reimer are playing with the FCL Mets on rehab assignments from St.Lucie Overall, the Mets tallied 11 hits, but stranded 21 runners on base (not a typo!). José Peraza went 1-for-4 in a rehab game from Syracuse.
Ernesto Mercedes was the standout, striking out five over his two scoreless frames
The Mets supplied the power, with Daiverson Gutierrez (the Mets’ top IFA signee from the latest Internation signing period ), Vladi Gomez, and Justin Ramirez all going yard.
After a wild pitch by Giants’ pitcher Jose Rojas advanced two runners to scoring position, the Mets walked it off on Cristopher Larez‘s line drive to left.
