The Storm Shadow, a stealthy cruise missile that has fallen into the hands of the Russian Federation, will reveal the technological component of Western weapons. The American portal The War Zone writes about it.

The War Zone writes that Russia’s acquisition of Storm Shadow will help reveal the secrets of Western technology. The American portal specifies that the most valuable component of the Anglo-French cruise missile is its guidance system.

“The loss of one largely undamaged missile is an undesirable event. The British Storm Shadow has some stealth technology that reduces its visibility. <…> The materials used in its design and warhead design would also be interesting,” writes War Zone.

The publication specifies that if the internal GPS sensor, as well as the onboard electronics and software supporting it, were recovered, they could be used to better understand the cruise missile’s capabilities, the targeting process and exploit its weaknesses. In addition, writes War Zone, Storm Shadow could be used to improve Russian systems.
