PVGP to Stampede into Sewickley on July 18
Presented by Sewickley Porsche, this is a new event starting in 2023. the Stampede is a parade of cars through downtown Sewickley that starts at 5:30 PM. Come on down to see the parade and car show and join the party at Rosa’s Cantina.
History
Many thanks to Dotti & John Bechtol and Rosemary & Joe Mendel. They are the founders of the PVGP Tune-Up Party that started back in 2006 at Bossa Nova restaurant downtown. In the beginning, the Tune-Up was a small gathering of 75 people and a display of a dozen exclusive cars. The Tune-Up Party has grown into a large event with several hundred cars and upwards of 500 participants along with hundreds of spectators.
The Bechtols and Mendels yearned to return to the small exclusive event that they started with their friend Robin Fernandez, who owned Bossa Nova along with Metropol and others. Robin recently opened The Hotel & Rosa’s Cantina in Sewickley and it is an ideal setting for an intimate party with an exclusive car show.

Purchase tickets to join the party at Rosa’s Cantina below. The party gets underway at 6:00 PM at the Hotel and Rosa’s Cantina at 509 Beaver Street in Sewickley. Robin Fernandez is working on a special menu. Like all Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix events, the proceeds benefit individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
