I’ve got a uniboob and have to wear special bikinis to make my chest look normal – up close they still look weird though
A WOMAN who has a “uniboob” has explained how she has to wear special bikinis to make her chest look normal.
According to Rose, one in 200,000 people are born with “Symmastia” – a medial confluence of the breasts – and she’s one of them.
She’s learned over the years how to make her cleavage look normal, what she wears has a lot to do with it.
“Different people have varying degrees of a uniboob and I’m very fortunate in that I can actually benefit from a little bit of shadowing,” Rose said.
“So from afar, it looks pretty defined. But obviously up close, and if I wasn’t wearing a bikini, it would look really weird.”
Rose added that the bikini tops she chooses push her boobs together, and give the effect that she has two separate breasts rather than a uniboob.
In another TikTok, Rose responded to one person asking about botched surgery causing Symmastia.
“Some people with implants end up getting the implants too close together, causing an unflattering and unnatural look,” she said.
Adding that some people are just born with it, she said: “I’m one of them… so I have this weird webbing in the middle.”
It also means that she can’t wear balconnette bras, because “the middle bit ends up pressing against my connection, against the webbing between my boobs
“If you look closely, the underwire is supposed to separate the boobs.
“But instead, it just sits right on top of it.”
