Ugly middle-aged Karens judge me for my booty shorts – they get offended even when religious ladies don’t
A WOMAN was surprised by the demographic that gave her the side-eye for her outfits.
She didn’t understand why Karens were offended at what she wore when even religious ladies weren’t.
Vera-Lee (@pastorpotatohead) shared her reaction in a video with over 18,000 TikTok followers.
The Boston-based lifestyle content creator sported a bright pink off-the-shoulder top and glitter mouse ears sat atop her head as she sipped some soda in a restaurant.
After getting looks from people around her, she had a realization.
“I always thought religiously observant women were silently judging me for wearing booty shorts but it’s actually ugly middle age pink women,” she said.
She didn’t quite understand the dynamic and thought there was no reason for them to care.
“If Yara isn’t offended why are you KAREN???” she asked.
Other women have shared their own experiences of getting judged by middle-aged Karens.
One influencer, Brianna Alexis (@briialexis_), was just trying to get a tan in but couldn’t help but feel prying and judgemental eyes.
“When you’re the only mom at the family resort not wearing a ‘momkini’ or one-piece,” she said.
“The Karens are out here being judge-y today guys,” she added in the caption.
