Johnston was identified online after the attacks happened by photos of the rioters who went viral. He voiced the role of Jimmy Pesto Sr. on Bob’s Burgers, but he’s reportedly been banned from the set as of 2021.
Documents obtained claim that Johnston made his way through the building in the upper west tunnel and “assisted at least three other rioters by pouring water on the rioters’ faces.” He also reportedly used a stolen U.S. Capitol Police shield.
A Gilmore Girls star spoke out and denied they were part of the riots, but seemingly supported the rioters and their actions.
