The Chicago White Sox reinstated right-hander Mike Clevinger and shortstop Elvis Andrus from the injured list on Friday.
Clevinger landed on the 15-day IL on May 18 with right wrist inflammation. He is scheduled to start Friday night's series opener against the visiting Detroit Tigers.
Clevinger, 32, is 3-3 with a 4.56 ERA and 40 strikeouts through nine starts (47 1/3 innings) this season, his first with the White Sox.
