A WOMAN has revealed that she ditched heavy make-up and large fake eyelashes for a more natural look and people are stunned when they see her now.
20-year-old Lara, from Croatia, explained that after going through a break-up, she decided to give herself a glow up.
She explained that she wanted to embrace her natural beauty more, and now people are saying she is a 12 out of 10.
While many women will wear make-up to give them a confidence boost, in a recent social media trend, we are seeing more and more people ditch the heavy beauty products and embrace their natural beauty.
And Lara is one of those who has started to embrace her natural looks.
Posting on TikTok under the username @thatlarax, the beauty fan shared a picture of her with and without her heavy glam.
She posted her beauty transformation on the video sharing platform with the caption ‘I guess heartbreak does wonders lol, now I‘m so damn thankful…’
Lara then noted: “Me realising thick lashes and heavy make-up wasn’t for me.”
In the first picture, Lara donned a full face of make-up, with her cheeks flawlessly contoured and highlighted.
She wore heavy eyeshadow, with a neat eyeliner flick and a pair of fluttery fake eyelashes.
Her eyebrows were also perfectly carved and her lips were heavily lined.
But seconds later, Lara shared a picture of her, looking much more natural.
She had ditched the heavy make-up and her skin looked fresh, glowy and healthy.
The eyeshadow, eyelashes or lip liner were also nowhere in sight either.
Lara’s glow up clip has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly gone viral and has amassed 2.7million views.
It has 424.8k likes, 675 comments, 15.1k saves and 849 shares.
Social media users were open-mouthed at Lara’s new look and were eager to praise her glow up in the comments.
One person said: “You went from a 5/10 to a 12/10.”
Another added: “So much better.”
A third commented: “You’re stunning.”
Someone else noted: “Natural is always best.”
