I wanted a stylish dress but what actually arrived was an utter fail – it looks like a ‘wrinkled bed sheet’
A WOMAN was left stunned when she finally got to try on the white dress she ordered online.
Ronni, from the US, bought the floor-length dress from Amazon for a bargain price.
Despite only paying £26 for the outfit, the fashion fan had high hopes for the outfit.
But what actually arrived looked very different to the images of the dress she saw on the site.
The gown turned out to be way too sheer, creased and didn’t fit properly.
Posting in a popular Facebook group the shopper said the dress “feels like a slinky bed sheet” and rated it zero out of 100.
To make matters worse, the thigh-high slit wasn’t on the side like in the pictures when Ronni tried it on, but right in the middle of the dress, revealing her underwear.
After warning others about the dress fail many felt sorry for the fashion fan.
One said: “This is why I don’t buy anything off Amazon without looking at the reviews and pictures of what people received.”
A second agreed: “That is offensively bad.”
“It looks like a child’s dressing up dress,” another wrote.
But not everyone thought the dress was a total write off, one person even suggested ironing the dress and adding a tulle skirt to bulk it out.
“Steam it, out a white mini skirt underneath, gold strappy shoes and big gold jewellery to take away from the dress,” another suggested.
Meanwhile, other members of the group didn’t share the shame enthusiasm.
“You literally are built like the model in the photo, this is just not the same dress as the picture,” one commented
And someone else said: “That is not fun! I’m sorry girly! I hope you get your money back.”
