My cheap door frame hack keeps the bugs out of the house – it takes seconds, all you need is a Dollar Tree buy
A WOMAN has shared the cheap Dollar Tree product that keeps her home bug-free and people are shocked.
People took to TikTok to joke about how the internet has taught them all the life skills they need to know.
Jordan (@jordan_the_stallion8) reacted to the hack in a video shared with over 9 million TikTok followers.
A grandma stood in her doorway as she rubbed a bar of Irish Spring soap from Dollar Tree along the door frame.
“You take your bar soap and you run it on the inside of your door frame, we use Irish Spring, and it keeps the bugs out of the house,” she said.
Jordan was shocked by the easy and cheap trick: “The internet has taught me more than school will ever teach me,” he said.
“The one thing that school ever taught me was how to write an essay due in three weeks in only 24 hours and barely pass but what the internet teaches me is the important stuff,” he joked.
He explained that at first, he thought what Granny did was just a myth, but then he looked it up.
“Did you know there’s actually a component that is inside of Irish Spring soap that actually repels mice, rabbits, and deer for some reason?” he asked.
“Irish Spring is actually some sort of repellant so if it works for them, it probably works for bugs.”
