I’ve picked a unique name for my baby – haters say it’s better suited to a dog and I need to change one letter
SHE was mum-shamed and inundated with cruel comments over the very unusual name she chose for her firstborn son.
Midnight Maverick, one, hit headlines worldwide last year thanks to his unique moniker, and Jasmine Chiswell has equally quirky plans for his baby brother or sister.
In a new video on her TikTok page, Marilyn Monroe lookalike Jasmine said: “Possible names for baby number two.
“It may change over time but we have liked these names for a long time.”
The blonde beauty then revealed Copper is a favourite if she has a boy.
She is also considering Viper for baby number two, a name that made her shortlist last time around as well – alongside Wolf and Wilder.
And if she has a girl, Jasmine and husband Maverick McNeilly are leaning towards Scarlett or Rose.
But it’s her top boy’s pick that has got people talking – with many saying it’s more suited for a dog rather than a baby
One said: “My dog’s name was Copper.”
A second wrote: “It’s a pet name…not a human name.”
A third agreed: “Copper sounds like a dog’s name.”
Others pointed out it reminds them of Disney classic Fox and the Hound as the tot would share a name with the lead character.
And some urged Jasmine to change one letter in the unusual moniker as they asked: “How about Cooper instead of Copper?”
But not everybody hates the unique name as one insisted: “Copper is so strong. Love it.”
Another agreed: “Copper would be so cute.”
We told earlier this month how Jasmine, originally from Scotland, filmed her hubby’s reaction to her positive pregnancy test.
TaTthe mum of one hid the test in a bowl of ice cream and covered it in chocolate sauce, strawberries, and wafers.
She then handed it over to her husband, who began to tuck into the sweat treat, unaware of what lurked inside.
Jasmine captioned the post: “The sweetest but maybe the most gross pregnancy surprise…I can’t believe he ATE THAT!”
