In the presence of Heads of State of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, Chinese President Xi Jinping, unveiled a grand plan for Central Asia’s development—from building infrastructure to boosting trade with the region. The Chinese President pledged 26 billion yuan ($3.7 billion) in fresh loans and grants to the resource-rich Central Asian countries for development of infrastructure.
