CLEANING toilets is an unfortunate part of life. You can hire cleaners to do it for you, but with the cost of living crisis, who can afford that?
This means the job most likely falls to you. And with a million other things to do in the day, people often flock to the internet to find an easy, no-fuss way to get it done.
A woman has shared how she cleans her husband’s toilet[/caption] People were left divided[/caption]In comes Carolina Mccauley, a cleaning whizz who shares all her nifty hacks on social media.
Known as @carolina.mccauley online, the woman shared a short clip of her husband’s toilet, explaining that this is the method she uses to clean it.
“These are special pumice stones,” she told viewers while holding up a pack of two long grey stones attached to white handles.
Revealing that they can remove hard water stains without scratching or causing damage to the porcelain, she took off the plastic film before giving people a closer look at them.
With a yellow rubber gloves over her hands, she then put the pumice stone into the toilet, where there were grotty limescale stains.
“He probably won’t even notice this, but it’s much better,” she said as the video came to an end.
In the caption, the TikTok user added: “Get rid of nasty water stains from your toilet once and for all,” followed by a sick emoji.
While many said they “need those”, others suggested she use an American product called Lysol to fix the problem.
But some weren’t as interested in the cleaning method as their ears peaked at her explanation that she was cleaning her husband’s toilet specifically.
“My husband cleans his own!” one person said.
Another questioned: “So you both have separate toilets?” as a third asked: “What decade did I just wander into?”
A fourth said: “How about he cleans it himself,” as a fifth chimed: “Should he not clean his own toilet? Is he not an adult?”
And a sixth asked: “Surely he can clean his own much?” to which Carolina replied: “You’d think that”.
