A BRITISH businessman attacked two flight attendants after he was refused a vegetarian dinner.

Robert David Croizat pinned a stewardess against the cockpit door and pushed another after finding out veggie meals were only served in first class.

The ordeal unfolded on an American Airlines flight from Barbados to Miami[/caption]

On the American Airlines flight he tried to storm the cockpit to complain about the service to the captain, court docs show.

Croizat was arrested and pleaded guilty to misdemeanour assault at the Miami Federal Court on September 3.

A second charge of interference with a flight crew was dropped.

During the flight from Barbados to Miami, Croizat called one attendant a s****y employee after he was told veggie meals weren’t served in his cabin.

He thought the steward had been rude to him and “voiced his displeasure that only vegetarian meal options were available in the first-class cabin”, court documents obtained by the New York Post show.

Two stewardesses came to help and Croizat admitted he had had two drinks and then “aggressively, demandingly, and loudly ordered the flight attendants to ‘get the captain out here'”.

The hotheaded vegetarian got up and pushed a stewardess twice before heading for the cockpit where he pinned another stewardess up against the door.

The criminal complaint handed to the court said Croizat had been asked to sit down but “refused to comply and pushed [the second flight attendant] FA 2, briefly pinning her against the cockpit door”.

Another passenger then forced the businessman back into his seat.

The crew later placed a cart between the cabin and the cockpit to prevent the man from reaching the door.

Court documents say: “The captain called air traffic control to report the incident during the flight, informing air traffic control that there was an attempted breach of the cockpit.”

Croizat had travelled to Miami, Florida, to spend five days with his son.

Ahead of his appearance in court the irate businessman asked to return home, complaining it was too expensive to stay in Miami renting Airbnbs.

His request was denied.

Croizat’s defence counsel Barry Wax told the Daily Beast Croizat’s behaviour sounded more extreme than it was.

American Airlines was reached for comment.
