GB Senior Women roster revealed for EuroBasket training camp
GB have announced a new-look 15-player squad ahead of their upcoming training camp for FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2023.
WBBL MVP Kiki Herbert-Harrigan is one of the newcomers in the squad alongside naturalised guard Sydney Wallace, while Kristine Anigwe is also included despite currently playing in the WNBA with Chicago Sky.
There are only six players that featured in the qualification triumph back in February with Chantelle Handy and Azania Stewart since retiring, while Cheridene Green and Georgia Gayle are both ruled out through injury with Kennedy Leonard and Eilidh Simpson also not involved.
Gabby Nikitinaite is included after a strong rookie year in Europe in Switzerland, while Savannah Wilkinson makes a return to the setup along with potential debutante Ire Ozzy-Momodu following their seasons in America.
There are also returns for Nicolette Fairley, Robyn Lewis, Erin McGarrachan and Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby as they join London Lions’ Holly Winterburn and Shequila Joseph as well as Leicester Riders duo Kirsty Brown and Hannah Robb as the other WBBL-based members of the squad.

GB’s preparation schedule includes two games in Prague against Czech Republic as well as a double-header with France in Lyon ahead of travelling to Ljubljana, Slovenia for the group phase.
