I had an epic fake tan fail when I thought it was a developer not an instant – the blotches were totally unblendable
A BEAUTY fan has shared an epic fake tan gone wrong which left her face turning darker than expected.
The tan fan confessed she thought the tan was a developer instead of instant tan and didn’t realise that the blotches were not blendable.
Taryn Lamb shared her epic fail in a TikTok video online.
“Holy f**king sh*t. I bought this today at Walgreens. It’s just like self tanning face mist. One Hour Express.”
Tayrn confessed she had misread the instructions and mistook the mist for a clear developing tan.
“I thought it was like a clear solution. Most face tanners clear, and then they develop.”
“So I pull it out for the first time, close my eyes, and I just start spraying all over my face. And I open my eyes.”
The beauty fan confessed she wasn’t sure how to solve the problem.
She asked: “Okay, what do I do?”
The beauty fan first thought she could blend the tan in and see if she could mask it.
“Oh, my god, Bondi Sands, you could did me so f**king dirty.”
Poor Taryn admitted she had plans later so she needed to find a solution quickly.

“I have to be somewhere in like, 30 minutes. And I’m trying to blend it, but oh, my god, it’s so dark.”
After intensive scrubbing with a brush Taryn realised she had only blended the tan in her skin and decided to see if she would wash it off.
She said: “Oh, my god, I have to take a shower.”
Taryn’s video went viral with over 8.4 million views.
But many users couldn’t understand why the beauty hadn’t washed off the tan before filming her video.
One user said: “Ok but why did you not IMMEDIATELY wash your face??”
Another asked: “Why are you letting it sit?”
A third viewer claimed: “I can’t imagine letting it sit in I would’ve ran to the sink.”
