'Yellowstone' Will Conclude With Season 5, But a New Spinoff Is Already In the Works
Yellowstone will officially end after the release of the final episodes from its fifth season, but it’s not all bad news for fans.
The future of the Paramount hit series has been hanging in the balance for a while now amid questions about franchise star Kevin Costner‘s plans for the future. A recent report suggested that he would exit the show after the fifth season.
It has since been confirmed that the show will conclude with its fifth season. However, another spinoff show is already in the works.

Variety confirmed the news about the show ending.
“Yellowstone has been the cornerstone on which we have launched an entire universe of global hits – from 1883 to Tulsa King, and I am confident our Yellowstone sequel will be another big hit, thanks to the brilliant creative mind of Taylor Sheridan and our incredible casts who bring these shows to life,” Chris McCarthy, president & CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, said in a statement shared with the outlet.
Details about the latest spinoff are still unclear. However, the outlet noted that it would premiere in December 2023. The final episodes of Yellowstone‘s fifth season are set to begin airing in November.
