Beauty fans go wild after spotting a Dyson Airwrap dupe – and it’s over £450 cheaper than the posh version
DYSON Airwrap fans are going crazy after spotting a dupe for the viral hairstyling tool that retails for a little over £20.
Beauty fanatic Jackie, better known as Jovial Jackie, took to TikTok to share the delightful news to her 146k followers on the platform.
According to Jackie, from the US, she had purchased a double for the viral Dyson Airwrap on Shein, where the 5 In 1 Multifunction Electric Hair Comb retails for £21.50.
The posh version, however, will set you back by an eye-watering £480, meaning you are saving almost £460.
To see how the two compared, Jackie uploaded a demo on social media, and immediately noted in her video that the cheaper dupe doesn’t come with a cool shine effect.
”It only has three settings, whereas the Dyson has six.”
In terms of size, the shopper pointed out that the more expensive styling dryer is bigger than Shein’s double – but she preferred the latter.
Jackie went on: ”The Dyson straightening brush is a little bit bigger – but they’re both getting the job done.”
However, the beauty fanatic was a little less impressed with the round brush of the cheaper version – Jackie had to spend a while trying to detangle her frizzy locks from the brush.
Once successfully removed the stuck hair, Jackie proceeded to test out the airwrap function and said that Shein’s double wasn’t ”connecting as quickly”.
Sharing hair final thoughts, the bargain lover said: ”I thought the Shein would be awful.
”For the price, it’s works pretty well. I have very thick hair so I’d take smaller sections with the round brush.”

One happy shopper wrote: ” I was an owner of dyson airwrap as well.
”After a while of using this one from SHEIN I came up on this decision: dyson does not worth it’s money. It’s too expensive and literally I had the same result as this one from SHEIN.
”The only disadvantage is that it takes a little more time to curl and it makes more damage to your hair.”

However, there were also concerns about the safety of the budget version, as a critic reckoned: ”Also one’s gonna blow up within a week.”
”My shein one legit starting smoking and basically blew up on the desk,” another warned.
