Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon break down in tears as ‘inspirational’ Britain’s Got Talent act win golden buzzer
VIEWERS watching Britain’s Got Talent were left in floods of tears as Alesha Dixon threw her support behind an ‘inclusive and inspirational’ act by giving them her golden buzzer.
The judge, 44, was left overwhelmed by theatre company Chicken Shed.
Comprised of individuals aged between 5 and 37, the group was set up to welcome anyone irrespective of background in order to get up on stage and perform and fulfil their dream.
Chicken Shed pride themselves on accepting anyone and do not hold auditions in order to make the group a safe and inclusive space.
The group wowed as they performed Wonder by Naughty Boy featuring Emeli Sande.
It meant that Alesha wasted no times as she decided to hit her golden buzzer for the young performers.
She told them it was her “honour” to reward their inclusiveness with her golden buzzer.
The group squealed as they burst with excitement at receiving the honour.
Writing on Twitter, one fan said: “Brilliant golden buzzer [tear emoji].”
Another added: “Absolutely brilliant well deserved golden buzzer.”
As a third added: “If you did not cry when the golden buzzer went off just now then you are definitely not normal.”
