Cavinder twins ink deal with Jake Paul’s Betr after quitting Miami hoops

While some women’s basketball fans have been obsessing over the transfer portal or the WNBA Draft, a lot of folks have been wondering, what’s next for the Cavinder twins?

Earlier this month, Haley and Hanna Cavinder announced that they were done with college basketball, despite each having one year of eligibility left. Haley was an All-ACC selection this past season for the Miami Hurricanes and led the team in scoring with 12.2 points per game as the Canes appeared in the Elite Eight for the first time in program history.

On Wednesday, we got an inkling of what’s next for the TikTok stars as they leave basketball behind.

Haley and Hanna are teaming up with boxer Jake Paul’s company, Betr Holdings, Inc.

According to a news release from Betr, the twins will “join Betr as Equity Partners, Content Creators and Creative Directors and are bringing their popular podcast, Twin Talk, exclusively to Betr Media.”

Haley and Hanna will be on-camera and have a podcast with Betr. In short, they’ll be producing a whole lot of content.

“Betr gives us the ability to accelerate the growth of The Cavinder Twins brand in a focused and truly authentic manner,” Haley and Hanna said in a statement. “We love sports, thrive on competition, and enjoy creating and bringing ideas to life. Betr truly makes The Cavinder Twins and our brand that much better and bigger.”

The Cavinders were among the first college athletes to sign NIL deals in 2021, partnering with Boost Mobile and Six Star Pro Nutrition. The duo has a huge following on social media, with more than 4.5 million followers on TikTok and more than 1 million combined on Instagram. On3 previously ranked Haley and Hanna at the top of their NIL valuations for women’s college basketball players, and they were on pace to earn more than $1 million in NIL. At Miami, they also had deals with Raising Cane’s, Victoria’s Secret and Champs Sports.

But the Cavinders have decided to stop playing basketball and go all-in on being businesswomen and influencers. So, this latest deal with Paul’s microbetting company isn’t NIL; it’s just business.

The Cavinders also have agreed to a deal with WWE. According to Sports Illustrated, they’ll start training with WWE this spring in Orlando.
