Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has revealed that Daniel Levy has no intention of selling Harry Kane this summer even if the striker does not extend his contract.
The speculation over Kane’s future continues to intensify as the striker nears the final 12 months of his contract, with no new deal in sight for the 29-year-old at the moment.
The Daily Mirror reported last week that Levy will demand over £100m for Tottenham’s talisman in the summer even if he does not put pen to paper on a new deal.
The report asserted that Man Utd could be willing to pay such a fee since the Red Devils have identified the Spurs star as their priority singing.
This was followed up by a report in The Independent a couple of days ago, which suggested that Bayern Munich are also determined to test Tottenham’s resolve by making an offer for Kane as they are aware that Levy does not want to sell the striker to another English club.
However, Bridge has now revealed on Sky Sports that a move to Germany is of ‘no interest’ to the England captain right now.
The journalist adds that Levy’s modus operandi this summer is to ‘keep Kane at all costs’, just as it was in the summer of 2021 when Manchester City tried to sign the centre-forward.

It sounds like Levy is prepared to take a gamble even if Kane does not sign a new deal in the hope that Spurs will do well next season and that he will perhaps be able to change the striker’s mind.
However, I do wonder if the smarter move for the club would be to cash in on the 29-year-old and use the funds to rebuild the squad ahead of next season.
