The high-limit slot room at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon is getting a makeover.
Simon Farmer, executive director of marketing at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, said in a phone interview that the new high-limit slot room continues the 2020 expansion. The effort included several dining additions such as Wahlburgers, The Marketplace by Fabio Viviani and Ruffled Feathers.
“This is just another effort to deliver four-diamond SoCal experience to our guests and, in this case, our high-limit slot limit guests,” Farmer said. “This is a great offering for the high-limit VIP player looking for an experience akin to what they would see in Las Vegas resorts.”
The high limit slot room will expand into the valet parking lot, moving outwards into a new glass structure that will hold 170 state-of-the-art slot machines with high-limit denominations between $1-$100. The new space will also include a new bar with an exclusive high-limit drink menu, bar-top gaming, large-screen televisions and a game-side dining menu.
“It’s something that we’ve been looking forward to introducing to our high-limit guests and has been on the horizon for some time now,” Famer said. “It’s a whole new ambiance that should deliver a discerning experience for that high limit guest.”
He added that there are also some upcoming tournaments and promotions exclusive to high-limit slot machine players. Construction for the new high limit slot room is expected to finish this fall.
The American Automobile Association recently awarded Morongo Casino Resort & Spa the Four-Diamond honors for its hotel and the Cielo, the fine-dining restaurant at the top of its 27-story tower — the tallest building in Riverside County. The AAA Diamond ratings evaluate the largest number of hotels and restaurants, using professionally trained inspectors and published guidelines to conduct annual unannounced hotel and restaurant evaluations.
