Sam Faiers reveals she’s been scammed by Airbnb host after booking dream villa on family holiday
SAM Faiers has revealed she’s been scammed by an Airbnb host after booking her dream villa for a family holiday.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star took to her social media to beg for help from fans after revealing the host was not replying to any of her messages, despite her paying up for the home.
Sam, 32, who is the younger sister of The Family Diaries star Billie Faiers, revealed she had booked her latest stay through Airbnb.
She admitted she chose the perfect Dubai villa from the online lettings company, which offers up homestays all over the world.
The star is already out in Dubai on holiday with her family, including husband Paul, and kids Paul Jr, seven, Rosie, five, and baby Edward.
And while she was preparing to head to the Airbnb home, she instead asked her followers for help as she revealed she’d been “scammed”.
Writing to her Instagram stories, Sam said: “Can someone please share a direct Airbnb contact with me?
“I have a scam case, but I’m getting no response from anyone. I booked a villa with a ‘Superhost’ with many 5 star reviews.
“They had been a member for more than 10 years and I followed all the steps via the Airbnb platform.
“I don’t like to post about things on here but it’s my last resort.
“Be very careful if you book via this website. I thought it was one of the trusted ones, but clearly not.”
It comes as Sam took her fans behind the scenes of her holiday, as she and her family stayed in a £1,000-a-night hotel.
The family have been staying at the newly-opened five-star The Atlantis Royal, after being “recommended by friends”.
The lavish hotel was opened with a spectacular Beyoncé concert in front of an array of influencers and celebrities from around the world.
Bey reportedly received £20million for the exclusive gig held in the grounds of the decadent hotel, which provides golden toothbrushes and has £160,000 suites.
Sam made it clear the trip was coming out of her own pocket to stop speculation she was benefiting from a lavish freebie.
Meanwhile Sam sparked rumours she is engaged to long time partner Paul – nine years after they first started dating.
The reality star flashed a huge diamond ring sending her fans into a frenzy while spending time on her holiday.
