A MUM has been praised after sharing a genius hack to get your child’s favourite TV characters to sing Happy Birthday to them on their special day.
MaryBeth took to TikTok to post a video explaining, as she began: “For all the parents out there with small kids, keep watching.
“Go to your Netflix app and type in Happy Birthday in the search.
“And have all of these videos from different cartoons that sing Happy Birthday to your kid.”
In the video, she showed characters from shows including Barbie, Miraculous, Skylanders Academy and Dinotrux, among others.
The comments section was quickly filled with remarks from grateful parents, many of whom had children’s birthdays in the coming weeks.
“My son turns 4 tomorrow! Perfect timing!!!” one wrote.
“This showed up at just the right time! My boy turns 3 tomorrow!!” another added.
While a third commented: “My son is 3 on Thursday!!!! Thank you!!!”
“My daughters birthday is today and I just saw this! Thank you!!” someone else wrote.
“They need to add more characters,” another insisted.
To which MaryBeth replied: “Agreed!”
And it wasn’t only for kids’ birthdays that people were excited to use the feature for.
“Alright. I’m turning 31 in 10 days. I’m so gonna play me a cartoon birthday song,” one admitted.
As another commented: “Did that for my 40th lol no joke!”
While someone else shared another way to get a personalised birthday message for your child.
“Go to YouTube and type in “happy Birthday _____” insert your kids name and there’s personalised happy birthday songs for pretty much every kids name,” they wrote.
