Scared of the dark fans fume at Chris Eubank after ‘patronising’ scene
SCARED of the Dark fans were left fuming at Chris Eubank after several ‘patronising’ scenes.
The Channel 4 reality series saw a host of stars who were tasked with the challenge of living in complete darkness for 180 hours.
Huge names including Nicola Adams, Chloe Burrows, Paul Gascoigne, and Max George took part in the Danny Dyer hosted show.
So far the celebrities – some of whom never met before – have been living together for over 30 hours with hilarious yet terrifying consequences.
Scarlett Moffatt was tasked with causing havoc in the group after it was revealed she was the final member of the cast.
But in tonight’s instalment, the stars clashed with boxing champion Chris Eubank after he was left irritated by their conversations.
There was a clear divide in the group as Chris argued with the rest of the group on Scared Of The Dark over his “authenticity”.
After announcing to the group that he was “superior on sharp point”, Donna Preston confessed that some people “struggle to tolerate” the star.
And it seems that fans agreed with her sentiment on the Channel 4 series as they took to social media in their droves.
One said: “Catching up on this “scared of the dark”… id be telling Chris Eubank where to go with his patronising tosh!”
Another penned: “@ChrisEubank seriously lost all respect for you dude. You’d no right preaching to the others in scared of the dark. Only you came out looking like a p***k”
A third noted: “Danny Dyer is great and you are so right the cast is perfect ( even though I don’t like Chris Eubank.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “Scared of the Dark on Channel 4 is one of the silliest, funniest reality shows I’ve watched in ages (but my god Chris Eubank is a proper d***!).”
A fifth exclaimed: “I am scared of the dark, but I reckon I could stand it with others in the same boat. But I couldn’t stand Chris Eubank.”
And a sixth agreed: “I always thought Chris Eubank’s oddities were just an act but obviously not.”
However the sun later broke down over his late son Sebastian, as he hailed him as a personal “inspiration”.
And some took to Twitter to show their support for the star.
One fan wrote: “Well done Chris, lifting the tone of scared in the dark. the rest were like a bunch of kids.”
