Britain’s Got Talent hopeful revealed to have already appeared on Asian and French versions
BRITAIN’S Got Talent hopeful Ichikawa Koikuchi is no stranger to the show as he’s already been on TV with his comedy act before.
It has been revealed that the 42-year-old previously auditioned for the Asian version of the show in 2019, as well as the French one in 2022.
Ichikawa Koikuchi, 42, took to the stage to show off his routine which saw him blow out candles, set off a party horn and pop a balloon with his own farts.
Despite his odd performance, he received three yeses from the judges and was sent through to the next round.
Ironically, he also made it through the initial stage of Asia and France’s Got Talent but didn’t last much longer in the competition.
Although new judge Bruno Tonioli described the act as “torture,” the three other judges found Koikuchi’s performance funny.
Simon Cowell even joined the act on stage for a final trick and assured his co-stars: “It’s not fake, it’s real”.
Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon ended up in hysterics, while Bruno questioned if the act was right for King Charles.
Elsewhere, Simon has opened up about David Walliams’ decision to leave the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel.
Speaking to The Sun, the TV mogul said: “I didn’t really get involved in the decision. From what I understand, he decided to take a step back.
“We did say to the two producers, ‘You have to make the final decision’ because, yeah, I am an exec producer, but they’re more hands on.”
He continued: “We had a conversation. But you know, he owned what he said, he wasn’t proud of what he said. This is not something that I would ever condone.”
David decided to leave the show after he was forced to apologise for referring to one contestant as a “c***” three times.
