I named my baby after a spice – trolls slam me but it’s adorable, I couldn’t care less
A WOMAN has revealed that she named her baby after a spice and she doesn’t care what cruel trolls have to say about it.
Mum-of-two Brooke Scheurn explained that her daughter is named Clove, after the aromatic spice, but not everyone has been as keen as her and her partner on the unique name.
Posting on TikTok under the username, @brookescheurn, Brooke opened up about her beautiful baby’s name.
The family, who are known on the social media app as ‘The Scheurn Fam’ have racked up an impressive online presence, with a whopping 324k loyal followers on the video sharing platform.
In her clip, which she shared with the caption ‘Her name is Clove & she is adorable’, the mum explained that she doesn’t care if people dislike her child’s unique name.
She claimed that people are always shocked when they find out about her daughter’s name.
She said that people will often say to her: “Wow we can’t believe you named your baby after a spice…”
But to this, Brooke responded: “Us not caring because she is the cutest baby ever.”
In the clip, which has been viewed almost 13,000 times, the blonde-haired mother shared a variety of pictures of her baby.
At the start of the clip, we saw some intimate pictures from the baby’s birth.
Following this, Brooke shared a variety of videos of Clove, with her parents after arriving home from the hospital.
The clip has clearly shocked many, and has amassed 400 likes and 14 comments.
Social media users were overwhelmingly positive about the child’s unique name and were quick to take to the comments to express this.
One person said: “That’s a beautiful name.”
Another added: “This is perfect, and why would people be bothered by that. This is your daughter and you decided on her name.”
A third commented: “I love the name! You do u!”
Whilst someone else noted: “She is so beautiful & her name is absolutely beautiful as well!!”
Some even revealed their children’s unique names.
Meanwhile, one mother revealed: “My daughter’s name is Saige.”
Whilst an expectant mother claimed: “Me and my partner have picked the name Clove for our baby.”
